Giving THANKS this Holiday Season....

Sorry for the long delay, but I have been holding, cuddling and snuggling with my new nephew!  What a wonderful Thanksgiving surprise.  Stanton decided to bless us with his presence one month early on November 15th. Weighing in at 5lbs 5oz and 20 inches long he is happy and very healthy.  Both mommy and daddy are doing GRAND a little sleepy but knowing their bundle of joy is here gives them the strength they need to keep their peepers open :0)

Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving!!  I sure did..... TONS of food (Fried Turkey, Smoked Turkey, Sweet Potato Souffle, Green Bean Casserole, Cranberry Relish, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Rolls, Ambrosia, Fried Greens, Relish Tray, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan/Chocolate Pie, King Cake)  We had so much food that we had to bring in the large ice chest full of ice to put food in.  The fridge just could not take any more!!  Miss B didn't know what to do with all the yummy, nummy food...her favorite was the relish tray full of olives, pickles and okra :0)  Mine....the Pecan/Chocolate Pie (of course the dessert..haha)

This year, instead of getting up at the crack of dawn and fighting traffic, crowds and long lines, I decided to do a little (Black Friday) shopping online.  Got a few Christmas things for Mr. Adkins...he will be very surprised.  Who went out and shopped??

  1. We did! We went to Belk at 4am and we were in a HUGE line to get in the door. They were handing out gift cards to the first 250 customers and my mom and I were customers number 248 and 249!!! We had great luck this morning! Now to actually get some sleep!!
